Video Project

This past semester I've been working on a film for an independent study in my digital video class. Actually, I've been planning to make this film since last spring so it's hard to believe that it's has finally been finished.

Over the summer I started collecting raw footage for this project which took up a considerable amount of time alone.. Actual production at school started at the beginning of september on the first day of school.

The video footage was imported along with scanned images of my drawings and paintings into the Media 100 editing program. Most of the editing was done within Media 100, although other programs such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Animation Shop were also used occasionally.

It was a long and difficult process over the next three months. However it was completed one small piece at a time. Featured here is a collection of some of the storyboards that I drew out during the preliminary phase of the production. These were not only made for my use but they were also used to help me explain to the teacher or anyone else what I was planning to do in case I needed advice.

This is only part of the collection, I'll be adding more pictures as time allows.
